PURPOSE: A vertically movable bollard is provided to be buried in the ground when necessary and to control the access of vehicles or pedestrians in normal times. CONSTITUTION: A vertically movable bollard(100) comprises a case(10), a moving body(30), and a guide unit(50). The case is formed in a cylindrical shape and can be buried in the ground. The top of the case is open. The moving body is installed in the case to be vertically movable inside the case. The guide unit is arranged inside the case and guides the vertical movement of the moving body. When the moving body is protruded from the case, the guide unit supports the moving body unit to prevent the descent of the moving body.
