<p>The invention relates to a surface covering system (1) comprising a plurality of photovoltaic panels (2, 2',...) respectively mounted in frames (3, 3',...) arranged adjacent to each other, wherein said frames (3, 3',...) define between them a plurality of slits (5) suitable to create a play between the photovoltaic panels (2, 2',...). The surface covering system (1) further comprises a plurality of sealing elements (6) that are fixed to the frames (3, 3', ...) and arranged at the slits (5), said sealing elements (6) extending in a longitudinal direction (L) parallel to the slits (5) and being extensible and retractable in a transverse direction (T) perpendicular to said longitudinal direction (L). A covering surface defined by the photovoltaic panels (2, 2',...) is inclined at a predefined angle (±) with respect to a horizontal plane. Thanks to these features, it is possible to make a waterproof surface covering system that is also suitable to compensate for thermal dilations and retractions of the supporting members and the frames (3, 3', ...) of the photovoltaic panels (2, 2', ...).</p> |
