LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

摘要

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to block light irradiated from a light guide plate by a black matrix while the light passes a liquid crystal panel, thereby minimizing the amount of lost light. CONSTITUTION: A backlight unit(202) is arranged in a lower portion of a liquid crystal panel. The backlight unit irradiates light to the liquid crystal panel. The backlight unit includes a reflecting layer(237). The reflecting layer increase the amount of light irradiated to the liquid crystal panel. The reflecting layer reflects light emitted from a light guide plate to a reflecting plate to change a route of light.
