<p>The mounting element has a flat-shaped base part (11) which has a coupling section (18) formed for coupling with a carrier rail (31). A surface portion (25a) of the base part is surrounded opposite to another surface portion along a bending edge (23) in the area of the coupling section. The surface portions cooperate at a common support point (17), in order to support the carrier rail in a loading direction (B).
