PURPOSE: A colored radiation-sensitive composition, a method for manufacturing a color filter, and a solid-state image taking element are provided to uniform the thickness of a film and to form colored patterns with reduced color non-uniformity. CONSTITUTION: A colored radiation-sensitive composition includes C.I. pigment orange 71, a binder with copolymer based on a compound represented by chemical formula 1, a polymerizable compound, and a photo-polymerization initiator. In chemical formula 1, R1 and R2 are respectively hydrogen atoms or alkyl groups. The binder is further includes aryl (meta)acrylate polymer or alkyl (meta)acrylate polymer.
