INTERIOR PERMANENT MAGNET MOTOR

PURPOSE: An electric motor having a built-in type permanent magnet is provided to improve a saliency ratio of the electric motor by forming an air gap on one side or both sides of a main magnet embedded in a rotor or arranging a ferrite magnet. CONSTITUTION: A stator(10) comprises a frame(12) and teeth(14) connected to the frame. A rotor(20) is pivotally included inside the stator. A main magnet(30) is arranged to be embedded in the rotor. An air gap area(42) is formed on a rear portion of the main magnet. An auxiliary magnet mad of ferrite materials is embedded in the air gap area.
