PURPOSE: A system for measuring a location and a method thereof are provided to group a plurality of readers receiving a signal transmitted from a tag up to three readers, and use a measured location value of the tag from each group, thereby supplying a location measuring method. CONSTITUTION: A system for measuring a location(400) includes a reader array(410), and a position measuring engine server(420). The reader array includes a plurality of readers(412~417). The readers are grouped by gathering one per 3 readers. The position measuring engine server determines a location of a tag by calculating time difference receiving a tag information signal from each of readers.
