PURPOSE: A hotmelt adhesive composition is provided to remarkably reduce generation of volatile organic components which impart inherent smells of a hotmelt adhesive by additionally containing a deodorant. CONSTITUTION: A hotmelt adhesive composition is provided to additionally contain a deodorant. The deodorant consists of a silicate compound which consists of sodium silicate, aluminum nitride, and urea, zinc chloride, and manganese chloride. The added amount to the hotmelt adhesive composition of the deodorant is 2-5 weight%. The deodorant consists of 90-97 weight% of the silicate compound, 2-8 weight% of zinc chloride, 0.5-2 weight% of manganese chloride. The silicate compound consists of 70-90 weight% of sodium silicate, 1-10 weight% of the aluminum nitrate, and 5-25 weight% of the urea. |
