<p>PURPOSE: A device for braking an induction motor is provided to stably maintain a stop operation by controlling the sudden variation of an output voltage and an output current in a braking process. CONSTITUTION: An operation frequency corresponding to a rotation speed command is generated(S100). A first q axis voltage is generated in proportion to the operation frequency(S110). The first q axis voltage and a first d axis voltage are changed into a three phase voltage(S120). A PWM signal is generated and outputted to correspond to a three phase voltage(S130). A PWM voltage signal is generated to drive an induction motor(S140). The torque of the induction motor is generated by the PWM voltage signal.
