PURPOSE: An internal combustion engine is provided to maintain the high performance without installing a direct injector. CONSTITUTION: An internal combustion engine comprises a fuel injecting unit and a controller. The controller makes an injector inject the fuel in an intake stroke to form mixed gas in a cylinder. The fuel is spread to the inside of a suction opening, and sprayed from an injector at a range from a valve shaft to the center of a cylinder.
