PURPOSE: A shock absorbing block with a design, a retaining wall using the same, and a construction method thereof are provided to reduce construction time by manufacturing the blocks in a plant and assembling the blocks in a construction site. CONSTITUTION: A shock absorbing block with a design comprises a front plate(100), a shock absorbing member(200), second connection members(300), connectors(400), and a block(500). The front plate is composed of a body and first connection members. The shock absorbing member is composed of cells, first couplers, and second couplers. The first and second couplers are installed between the cells. The second connection members have first through holes(310). One ends of the connectors are coupled to the second couplers of the shock absorbing member through the first through holes of the second connection members, and the other ends are installed on the rear surfaces of the second connection members and fix one ends of the second connection members to the rear surface of the shock absorbing member. The block has coupling grooves in which the second connection members are coupled. |
