Novelty: method for the construction of a mountable prefabricated cylindrical metal cistern designed for the storage of drinkable water (up to 2000 m3) or other liquid foodstuff (milk, oil, wine etc) is disclosed. Constitution: construction of a cylindrical cistern of varying form, height and diameter, which cistern comprises a normal roof and, in parallel, an internal special floating roof serving for the complete isolation of the cistern’s content; lamellae adequately connected to form an absolutely uniform and rigid shell exhibiting, thus, enhanced durability against manifested high hydrodynamic internal pressures. Embodiment: application in agriculture for irrigation purposes as well as for fire prevention and extinction. |
