The device has a structure including a support portion (23) of an acquisition system (3) and a base for connection of the structure in a vehicle i.e. van, where the system is movably mounted relative to the base to pick and place a signaling cone (5) to a storage position for storing the cone in a storage space and a retrieval position for retrieving the cone. The system includes an electromagnet (9) to exert field of magnetic attraction at a plate (4) so as to attract and hold the cone against the plate, where the cone is provided with a curved steel plate (7).
