An AC/AC pulse converter is provided in mold and is designed with n rows and 3.k columns, where n and k are natural numbers. Each AC/AC pulse converter has three input conductor (10-12) connected on three phase outlets. An input stage of AC/AC pulse converter for connection of three input conductor with memory-less link has direct current three-phase bidirectional converter with six switch bridge circuit, while an output stage for connection of the intermediate circuit with upper and lower output conductors (13,14) has single-phase inverter with bidirectional switch four bridge circuit. An independent claim is included for method for driving modular bidirectional AC/AC converter.
