The device has a distribution element (2) e.g. pin or battery pad, that forms an integral part of an electrical supply component that is connected to a terminal of a control and command unit (6). Another electrical supply component i.e. cable lug (5), is provided as an integral component of the distribution element. An electrically isolated current sensor i.e. wire conductor (8), has an exposed portion that provides electrical contact with a surface of the latter electrical supply component when the latter electrical supply component is connected to the distribution element. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling quality of tightening of electrical connection in a car.
