The sachet (10) has main walls (13, 14) forming parallel side edges (15), a bottom (12) and an opening (11), where folds (16a, 16b) are provided at each side edge. A closing strip (20) longitudinally extends along the opening of the sachet and folds upon itself at the folds of the sachet. The closing strip includes a discontinuity extending transversely to the closing strip at one of the folds of the sachet and/or at one of free ends (20') of the closing strip, where the discontinuity extends over the entire height of the closing strip. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a sachet.
