The face (1) has a radiator (2) for cooling a heat transfer fluid of an engine, and an air intake (5) emerging in front of the radiator. A closing device (7) selectively releases/seals the intake and includes movable wings (11) attached to a support (9) i.e. frame. A control mechanism (13) controls movement of the wings between air intake releasing and sealing positions. Each wing has a flap comprising opposite large surfaces and a seal (23) i.e. elastic material band, stuck to one of the large surfaces. The seals are supported against sealing surfaces of the device in the sealing position. The seals are made of honeycomb material or foam.
