PURPOSE: A trusted platform module supporting a multi platform and a realizing method thereof are provided to set a desired TPM function in various platforms by manufacturing a TPM chip once, thereby reducing manufacturing costs. CONSTITUTION: An I/O(Input/Output) unit(110) performs data communication with a host under control of a control unit(130). A memory unit(120) stores a flag in a fixed area. The flag shows TPM(Trusted Platform Module) function change possibility and a currently set TPM function. If a TPM function change command is received from the host, the control unit sets a function of the WTPM(Wide use Trusted Platform Module) corresponding to the command. The control unit controls an operation of the set TPM about a received TPM command. |
