The system has a variable displacement oil pump (6) controlled by an engine control unit (20), and supplying oil to an oil circuit. The oil pump comprises a control chamber (22) that includes a surface forming an adjusting piston subjected to control pressure so as to vary displacement of the pump, where the control pressure is taken alternatively in different pipes (24, 52, 54) of the oil circuit of a heat engine (51) to deliver different pressures. A solenoid valve (50) comprises a position that reduces the pressure of the oil in the control chamber.
