The seat (100) has a base including a base medallion (110) defined laterally by side supports (120, 130). The medallion is separated longitudinally into two side portions with respect to the base, where each side portion is connected to one of the side supports so as to form semi-bases. The semi-bases slide laterally and symmetrically with respect to the base by an adjusting saddle (10) that is slid longitudinally with respect to the base. The saddle is slid on a groove (15) fixed to the seat.
