<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch an appropriate video signal processing mode with light processing load when a signal processing mode is automatically switched in accordance with a reception situation of a 2D/3D mixed broadcast signal. <P>SOLUTION: A decoder decodes an encoded video signal based on added data and outputs a decoded video signal. A signal processor processes the decoded video signal at a signal processing mode of a 2D video signal or a 3D video signal. A first detector detects whether decoding of a prescribed picture frame of the encoded video signal is terminated or not. A second detector detects whether the encoded video signal decoded by the decoder is a 2D signal or a 3D signal by analyzing added data. The second detector outputs a detection result for a switch at the signal processing mode of the signal processor in response to the detection of the termination of decoding of the prescribed picture frame in the first detector. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
