<p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide a connector that can improve a holding force with regard to a terminal fitting of a lance provided in a terminal receiving part and improve production efficiency. The connector comprises: a terminal fitting (2) provided with an electrical wire connecting part (3) connected to an electrical wire (7), an electrical contact part (5) to be connected to a mating terminal fitting, and a tube part (4) provided between the electrical wire connecting part (3) and the electrical contact part (5); and a housing (6) in which a terminal receiving part (61) for housing the terminal fitting (2) is provided; wherein, the housing (6) is provided with a lance (65), one end of which being linked to the inner surface of the terminal receiving part (61) and the other end being free and extending toward the tube part (4) of the terminal fitting (2); an opening (4a) is formed in the tube part (4); an engaging part (45) for engaging with the free end of the lance (65) is provided on an edge of the opening (4a) toward the electrical contact part (5); and the engaging part (45) is provided so as to project toward the inside of the tube part (4) from the edge of the opening (4a).</p> |
