<p>PURPOSE: A device for using contents and a using method thereof are provided to automatically perform device management and contents download through a CD-ROM automatic execution function of a computer, thereby removing an execution process or complex installation. CONSTITUTION: A contents use device includes a computer interface for connecting to a computer, a CPU, and a storage device. A storage device stores an automatic execution program, a descriptor table recognized as a general USB storage device, and a descriptor table recognized as a USB CD-ROM. The automatic execution program operates with only connection in the computer without a driver when the program connects to the computer. The automatic execution program performs mutual transmission of data communication and contents.
