<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for a biochip, containing a hydrogenated norbornene-based ring-opening polymer material and easily forming a fine pattern. <P>SOLUTION: This resin composition for the biochip comprises (1) a hydrogenated norbornene-based ring-opened polymer, and (2) a hydrogenated block copolymer obtained by hydrogenating a block copolymer having [A] a polymer block consisting mainly of a recurring unit derived from an aromatic vinyl compound and [B] a polymer block consisting mainly of a recurring unit derived from a linear conjugated diene compound, wherein 5 to 80 wt.% polymer block [A] is contained in the whole polymer block, and the hydrogenated block copolymer is prepared by hydrogenating ≥90% of the total unsaturated bonds which are the total of the carbon-carbon unsaturated bonds of main chains and side chains of the block copolymer, and carbon-carbon unsaturated bonds of the aromatic ring block copolymer of the block copolymer.
