<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure capable of reducing warping or positional deviation of a roller for conveying the recording medium in a conveying direction of a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The image recording apparatus includes: a pinch roller 61 provided at a further upstream side in the conveying direction of a recording sheet than a recording part for recording an image on the recording sheet; a conveyance roller 60 which pinches the recording sheet between itself and the pinch roller 61 and conveys the recording sheet, and which is configured of one roller; a frame 72 for rotatably supporting the conveyance roller 60; a pressing member 80 movable in a front and rear direction 8 with respect to the frame 72 and coming in sliding contact with a roller face of the conveyance roller 60 from the downstream side in the conveying direction; a spring 85 for biasing the pressing member 80 in a direction opposite to the conveying direction; and an intermediate roller pair provided at a further upstream side in the conveying direction than the pinch roller 61 and the conveyance roller 60, and generating a load in the opposite direction with respect to the recording sheet pinched by the pinch roller 61 and the conveyance roller 60. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
