<p>The pointer (1) has an optical waveguide that is mounted on pointer vane, so that light guided by waveguide defines the display position of pointer. The waveguide is made of organic, inorganic, nano-crystalline such as quantum dots, or phosphors. The light conversion in waveguide is occurred by photo luminescence or phosphorescence. The wavelength of conversion light is within the range of 400-800 Nm. An independent claim is included for display device.</p> |
