The flexible rotary joint has a damping element (3) for transmission of damping torque between two driving sections (1,2). A catch is provided for transmission of drive torque between the two driving sections. The damping element is operative within a torsion angle limited by the catch. The damping element has damping sections, which are connected in parallel and transmits a portion of the damping torque in each case. An independent claim is also included for a roll stabilizer with an actuator.
