PURPOSE: A real time question and answer system based on image information and a question method thereof are provided to easily perform question and answer by making a question through an image extracted from a video lecture. CONSTITUTION: A user input unit(210) receives a question massage from a user. An image extracting unit(240) generates a first image by capturing a currently displayed screen. An image recognizing unit(250) recognizes semantic information included in the first image. A control unit(270) generates a second image which is including the semantic information and is at least a portion of the first image. The control unit generates summary information about the semantic information.
