<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planetary gear apparatus that can prevent a carrier pin from rotating, and suppress the deterioration of rotational accuracy of a planetary gear caused by the tilt of the carrier pin, and to provide an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: Three output sides supporting hole 86d with D-shaped cross-sectional surface where an output side end having a D-shaped cross-sectional surface of a first carrier pin 81 is attached on an output side carrier side plate 86a of a first carrier 86 are provided evenly spaced in a rotational direction. A top of a circular portion of the D-shaped cross-sectional surface in the respective output side supporting holes 86d, 89d are configured to be a lowermost stream in a carrier rotational direction, and a top of the circular portion of the D-shaped cross-sectional surface in the output side end of the first carrier pin 81 is located in the lowermost stream in the carrier rotational direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
