<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copper alloy sheet material which has a high Young's modulus, has excellent strength, and is suitable for a lead frame, a connector, a terminal material, and the like for electrical and electronic equipment, and a connector, a terminal material, a relay, a switch, and the like for mounting on an automobile and the like, and to provide a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The copper alloy sheet material has an alloy composition including either or both of Ti and Fe in a total amount of 1.5 to 4.0 mass% and the balance comprising copper and unavoidable impurities. Under the crystal orientation analysis by means of the EBSD measurement, with respect to the accumulation of atomic planes facing in the width direction (TD) of a rolled sheet, the area rate of a region having atomic planes in which the angle of the normal of the (111) plane to TD is 20° or less exceeds 50%.
