<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which is capable of maintaining the quality of an image while miniaturizing a transfer roller and whose main body can be miniaturized. <P>SOLUTION: A rotation axis Z of a transfer roller 21 is shifted to the downstream side in the rotational direction of a paper conveyance belt 18 with respect to a photosensitive drum 11, to be arranged. The transfer roller 21 includes a roller main body 30 and bristles 31. On the paper conveyance belt 18, a third nip part G is formed in such a manner that the paper conveyance belt 18 comes into contact with the bristles 31 also after the paper conveyance belt 18 passes through a second nip part F and then, is separated from the roller main body 30. Thus, the occurrence of peeling discharge when the photosensitive drum 11 and the paper conveyance belt 18 are separated from each other can be reduced while miniaturizing the roller main body 30 of the transfer roller 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
