<p>Disclosed is a touchscreen using a light emitting body, the touchscreen for easy and accurate recognition of an area touched by a user being inputted on the image display unit. The touchscreen comprises: a rectangular image display unit having a touch area formed thereon; a plurality of light emitting bodies each placed on the three edges of the image display unit and discharging light in the direction of the image display unit; a first sensor unit and a second sensor unit, each placed on the two vertices formed by an edge of the image display unit on which the light emitting body is not placed, and detecting the light incident from the direction of the image display unit; a third sensor unit placed in the center of the one edge of the image display unit on which the light emitting body is not placed, and detecting the light incident from the direction of the image display unit; and a control unit for calculating the location of the dark space formed by the touch area from the light detected from each of the first, the second, and the third sensor units, and calculating the location of the touch area thereby.</p> |
