PORTABLE TERMINAL DEVICE AND RADIO COMMUNICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal device and a radio communication method which can specify a reason for disconnection of a radio communication with other portable terminal devices.

SOLUTION: When a disconnection detection unit 163 detects communication disconnection during wireless connection between a smartphone 100 and a tablet terminal 150, a judgement unit 164 judges whether the communication disconnection is caused by low battery level or the communication disconnection is caused by unknown communication partner due to a considerable distance between each other based on remaining battery level of the smartphone 100 immediately before the communication disconnection. A notification unit 165 notifies a user of a judged reason for the communication disconnection.
