PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device capable of suppressing deterioration in characteristic of each transistor without making operation unstable.

SOLUTION: In a non-selection period, a power supply potential is supplied to an output terminal of a shift register circuit by turning on a transistor for every constant period. The output terminal of the shift register circuit receives the power supply potential via the transistor. Since the transistor is not normally on in the non-selection period, the shift of the threshold potential of the transistor is suppressed. The output terminal of the shift register circuit receives the power supply potential via the transistor for every constant period. Therefore, generation of noise at the output terminal can be suppressed in the shift register circuit.
