<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer in which an electric cable connecting a draw-out unit with a printer body can be compactly stored in the printer body while sufficiently preventing damage of the electric cable. <P>SOLUTION: The printer includes: the draw-out unit 2 which can be drawn out from its storage position in the printer body 1 to a predetermined position and can be returned to the storage position; the electric cable 6 which connects the draw-out unit 2 with the printer body 1 in the printer body 1; and a guide member 5 constructed as a separate body from the electric cable 6 and installed in the printer body 1, the guide member 5 bridging between the printer body 1 and the draw-out unit 2. Here, the guide member 5 has an accordionable section 51 which enables the guide member 5 to be expanded/contracted following the draw-out/storage of the draw-out unit 2, wherein the electric cable 6 is supported by the guide member 5 so that the electric cable 6 accordions following movement of the guide member 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
