<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a public transportation radio system capable of determining the failure of a mobile station device 1 without using a high-functionality, large-scale, expensive base station device 20. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile station device 1 includes: a reception status detection part 6 for detecting reception status information (RSSI, BER) of a signal wirelessly received from a base station device 20; a position detection part 4 for detecting the positional information thereof; a storage part 11 for storing the detected reception status information and the detected positional information with the two correlated with each other; and a comparison part 8 for comparing plural pieces of reception status information corresponding to the same positional information on the basis of the information stored in the storage part 11. If the comparison result shows that the presently detected reception status is worse than a previously detected reception status by more than a predetermined threshold, it is possible to determine that some type of failure has occurred to the mobile station device 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
