摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element having high light extraction efficiency and excellent in view angle dependency of a chromaticity difference. <P>SOLUTION: An organic electroluminescent element (1) includes a transparent substrate (14) having a pair of main surfaces, a transparent conductive film (13) formed on one of the main surfaces of the transparent substrate (14) and an organic light-emitting layer (12) formed on the transparent conductive film (13) and including a luminescent material. A non-planar speckle structure (14a) including a plurality of rugged structures in which heights and pitches of rugged shapes are irregularly formed is formed at least on one of the main surfaces of the transparent substrate (14) and a maximum diffusion angle indicated by the transparent substrate (14) is more than 60&deg; and 120&deg; or less. In the non-planar speckle structure (14a), a standard deviation in inclined plane angle distribution is 35 to 60&deg; in a direction indicating the maximum diffusion angle in the main surface of the transparent substrate (14). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
