<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detector which reduces possibility of a failure, which is hard to be restricted by the size of a tank thereof, which prevents leakage of liquid (including liquefied gas) in the tank to the outside of the tank more, and which allows detailed detection of a liquid level and detection of the liquid level with higher accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid level detector 1 includes: a tank 10 constituted of a nonmagnetic material; and a float 20 which vertically moves according to a liquid level in the tank 10 and has a magnet 21. Thus, the magnet 21 vertically moves according to the liquid level, magnetic flux density to be detected by magnetic sensors 41 and 42 varies, and the liquid level is detected by a liquid level detection part 60. In addition, the liquid level detector 1 includes a coil spring 70. The coil spring 70 applies force for lowering the float 20 when the liquid level is higher than an arbitrary position, and applies force for lifting up the float 20 when the liquid level is lower than the arbitrary position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
