<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective value measurement device for accurately and quickly measuring an effective value without increasing costs. <P>SOLUTION: A power regulator is configured to execute A/D conversion in every fixed sampling period T, perform A/D conversion to an instantaneous voltage value and/or instantaneous current value of a repetitive waveform, square the calculated instantaneous voltage value and/or instantaneous current value each time, integrate those calculated values to calculate an output voltage squared integral value and/or output current squared integral value, set a timing when the A/D conversion is started in each semi-cycle of the repetitive waveform to a point delayed only by Td+ΔT with respect to a zero point, store four pieces of output voltage squared integral values and/or output current squared integral values for the semi-cycle of the repetitive waveform, and calculate the effective value of the voltage or current of the repetitive waveform from the stored four pieces of integral values. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
