ELECTRIC TOOL USING SECONDARY CELLS AS POWER SOURCE

An electric tool uses secondary cells as the power source, and the secondary cells can be individually attached to and detached from the electric tool. It is preferable that the electric tool is provided with: a monitoring circuit for monitoring the condition of each of the secondary cells; and a display circuit for displaying, for each of the secondary cells, the result of the monitoring by the monitoring circuit. It is particularly preferable that the monitoring circuit monitors the output voltage of each of the secondary cells and that the display circuit displays, for each of the secondary cells, whether or not a detected output voltage is within a predetermined range.
