<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption in radio communication devices and frequency characteristic compensating devices. <P>SOLUTION: A radio communication device stores setting information including compensation coefficients, action partitions and partitioning conditions into a set value storage 4, and generates an address with an address generator 1 matched with the timing of inputting a subcarrier signal into a subcarrier signal input unit 2. The radio communication device determines with an action partitioning selector 3 partitioning conditions which enables an address to satisfy conditions and selects an action partition and, using a compensation coefficient corresponding to the action partitioning, performs frequency characteristic compensation with a frequency characteristic compensator 5.
