<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device, and particularly, a liquid crystal display device capable of easily discharging unnecessary electric charges such as static electricity. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention is characterized in that a transparent conductive metal layer is formed on a rear of a cover glass, which eventually modularizes a liquid crystal module having a liquid crystal panel of a lateral electric field type, and that a second substrate of the liquid crystal panel of the lateral electric field type and the transparent conductive metal layer of the cover glass are laminated in close contact with each other using a double-sided adhesive tape. This makes it possible to easily discharge to the outside unnecessary electric charges such as static electricity charged on the second substrate, and to easily discharge and remove unnecessary electric charges such as static electricity generated on the liquid display panel. There is no need to form the transparent conductive metal layer on an outer surface of the second substrate. It is thus possible to prevent damages on the transparent conductive metal layer and a second polarizing plate, and to prevent problems such as a reduced viewing angle range due to a discharging path and an increased process time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
