<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of pollutants in exhaust gas even when engine restarting is repeated due to idle stop or the like. <P>SOLUTION: An engine 1 is provided with an accumulator 4, and a communication passage 3 communicating the inside of a cylinder 1a to the accumulator 4 is provided in a manner openable and closable by a pressure accumulation valve 5. The pressure accumulation valve 5, together with an injector 2, is controlled by an ECU 6. An "air-fuel mixture pressure accumulation means" for making air-fuel mixture in the cylinder 1a during vehicle deceleration and causing the air-fuel mixture compressed in the cylinder 1a to be accumulated in the accumulator 4 is mounted on the ECU 6. Further, an "accumulated pressure supply means" for supplying the air-fuel mixture accumulated in the accumulator 4 to the inside of the cylinder 1a during engine restarting to restart the engine 1 is mounted on the ECU 6. Accordingly, the generation of pollutants during the starting is suppressed because the engine 1 is started using vaporized fuel supplied from the accumulator 4 to the inside of the cylinder 1a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
