<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of facilitating manufacturing of a shaft having an oil reservoir portion for reserving oil therein. <P>SOLUTION: An oil flow channel has an outer peripheral surface and an inner peripheral surface and is partitioned by the inner peripheral surface in a shaft. The shaft includes: a large inner diameter portion having a first inner diameter; a small inner diameter portion that neighbors in one direction along the axial direction of the large inner diameter portion and has a second inner diameter smaller than the first inner diameter; and a penetration hole reaching from the inner peripheral surface of the large inner diameter portion to the outer peripheral surface of the rotation axis.
