[Also in Group XXXIV] An invalid chair comprises a tubular frame mounting hand-rotatable wheels 5 and castor wheels 13, a footrest 22 swingable about a frame member 4, a back support 10 swingable downwardly about a frame member 2 to a stowed position over the frame, and side rails 14 pivoted at 15 to the frame and fastened to the support 10 by pinch screws 16. A tray 32 having side clips 33 may be removably supported on the lower limbs of the frame, and lifting handles 19 are provided. The distance between the rails 14 is the maximum width of the chair.
