PURPOSE: A map service providing server, a module thereof, and a map service providing and applying method are provided to select a desired map layer, an interesting point, and a tile generation area through a map image tool of a web page, thereby more conveniently applying for a user-defined map. CONSTITUTION: A UI(User Interface) generating unit(120) a layer setting UI and a interesting point setting UI for setting styles of interesting points and map layers classified beforehand. When the styles of the map layers are set through the layer setting UI, a layer managing unit(141) stores and manages the styles of the map layers in a database(160).
