Cosed cell substrate when the liner is under pressure within the container such as prior to the container being opened, liner maintains a minimum profile or thickness, when container is opened and pressure released, the liner expands to achieve equilibrium. Utilizing gas or liquid filled microcapsules, voids created by the microcapsules enhance the thermal barrier characteristics of liner. Encapsulated solid-liquid phase change material, the microcapsules change phase from a solid to liquid state absorbing heat as the container increases in temperature; Integral cooling element incorporates solid/liquid phase change material; When beverage is chilled, the phase change material is maintained in a solid state below its melting temperature.</p> |
