[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a curtain airbag enabling localized decreases in internal pressure to be prevented and performance in regard to preventing an occupant from being thrown from a vehicle to be improved. [Solution] An airbag (100) comprises: a main chamber (112) that inflates first, and a delay chamber (114) that inflates upon gas flowing thereinto from the main chamber, the main chamber and the delay chamber being inflating regions; a linear seam (118) at which front and rear base fabrics of the airbag linearly overlap and partition the main chamber and the delay chamber; a planar seam (124) at which the front and rear base fabrics constitute a non-inflating region over a predetermined range, the planar seam being provided to a lower edge of the linear seam; and a gas inflow channel (116) through which gas is allowed to flow from the main chamber to the delay chamber between the planar seam and the lower edge of the airbag. There is formed on the airbag a crease (136) where the front and rear base fabrics of the gas inflow channel slacken when inflation and deployment is complete, whereby the gas inflow channel is blocked or narrowed.
