PURPOSE: A retractor for a door is provided to easily place a locking journal at a locking position and to minimize interference to peripheral portions of a locking groove and a penetration unit when moving the locking journal even though the locking groove and the penetration unit are formed at high accuracy. CONSTITUTION: A retractor for a door comprises a sliding member(220), a door locking unit(230), a locking assembly(240), and a cover member(250). A locking groove is formed in a lateral surface of the sliding member and the sliding member slide-moves in the inner surface of the door. The door locking unit is arranged in the inner surface of the door and connected by the slide-movement of the sliding member and selectively locks the door on an object. The locking assembly comprises a locking body being fixed in the inner surface of the door and a locking journal. The locking journal moves with respect to the locking body toward a locking position being locked in the locking groove and a releasing position being released from the locking groove. The covering member is integrally fixed in the inner surface of the door to cover the locking journal and a penetration unit is formed in which the locking journal penetrates through is formed in the lateral surface of the covering member.
