<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knock type mechanical pencil which can project a lead by a constant amount from the tip of a slider by a knocking operation and can return the lead by a small knocking operation. <P>SOLUTION: A head 1A of a chuck 1 is pressed by a fastener 2 and the fastener 2 is pressed by a connector 4, whereby the chuck 1 is closed and holds the lead 6. The slider 7 is engaged with the connector 4 to be able to move a constant distance in a longitudinal direction. The slider 7 is built in an apex member 10 to be movable in the longitudinal direction. The connector 4 is energized backward by a return spring 12 of a load when attaching weaker than that of a chuck spring 5. Moreover, the slider 7 is energized backward by a front spring 13 fitted inside the apex member 10 by a load when attaching weaker than the engagement force of the apex member 10 and slider 7. A lead holder 8 set to the slider 7 holds the lead 6 by a holding force weaker than the load when attaching the front spring 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
